Biography

General Director and Managing Partner of SOLAR Laser Systems since 1996. Evgeny has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SOLAR Laser Systems since 2022

Prior to joining the company, he served as deputy director and general manager for laser technology at the joint Belarusian-Japanese enterprise SOLAR-TOKYO Instruments. While working on this position, he was responsible for organizing R&D in the field of solid-state lasers, setting up production and promotion of laser technology for scientific and industrial applications.

In the previous few years, Evgeny Gulevich worked in various engineering positions at the state-owned enterprise OPP NTO USSR Academy of Sciences, which was engaged in the development of optoelectronic devices for scientific and special applications.

Prior to joining this enterprise, Eugene worked as a researcher at the Applied Optics Department of the Belarusian National Technical University (formerly BPI), in which he was engaged in scientific research in the field of solid-state tunable lasers.

In the same department, he worked as a laboratory assistant during his studies at the BNTU, which he successfully completed in 1986 and received a diploma of the design engineer of optoelectronic technology.

Organization of research and development in the field of solid-state lasers and optoelectronic systems, the creation on their basis of equipment for industrial applications, scientific research and minimally invasive medicine.

Organization of production, promotion and sales of laser-optical equipment.

Key Achievements

7 published scientific papers, several copyright certificates and patents for inventions.

More than 15 research and development projects were executed and implemented by orders of the government and private organizations.

Organized and successfully implemented research and development programs for the development and production of laser and optical systems used in the technological processes of the largest aircraft manufacturing companies in the world for scientific research, nanotechnology and medicine.

The managed enterprise manufactures and supplies laser and spectral equipment in more than 30 countries of the world.

He is an active supporter and popularizer of the development of optoelectronic instrument engineering, an invited speaker of thematic conferences and congresses.
